Starjump clubs are for vsl kids who feel like "fish out of water" at school, academically and/or socially.
It is extremely important for these kids to socialize with like minds. Making friends becomes easy.
They can be themselves at a Starjump Club because their difference will be understood and appreciated.
The club's aim is to provide a space where the kids are challenged in the areas of their cognitive strengths. It is a place for them to be creative thinkers with other kids who are just like them. They discover themselves and shine.
Clubs are about to start in the Templestowe and Berwick areas of Melbourne.
Students must complete an assessment before being enrolled.
All students participating in the Starjump program are automatically enrolled in a club if one operates in their area.
Clubs are run by parents in a voluntary capacity, except in Asean countries where students can join a club at Starjump centres. Parents are trained and accredited by Starjump but operate independently. Activities are provided by or approved by Starjump.
Parents are also able to meet with others who are experiencing the same ups and downs of parenting as they are.
It's a great support to know you are not alone. Others understand.
