The Comprehensive Developmentmental Assessment identifies underlying causes of learning and behavioural challenges.

It is a unique whole child approach to assessment.  Educational psychologists currently use this assessment tool in Victorian schools.

The Assessment enables us to identify the underlying causes of learning and behaviour problems.  We also identify the child's strengths in order to develop a program that focuses on using those strengths to overcome learning problems.  Parents are asked to complete an online questionnaire which takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. One of our consultants will then conduct a session with the child and the parent either online or in person to complete the assessment. We use a very complex data analysis tool to assist in creating two very accurate and detailed reports, one for the parents and one for the child's classroom teacher. These reports are given to the parents in a feedback session where the findings are explained in detail and a plan of action is developed in consultation with the parent. The reports are supported with appendices with more information and strategies on topics relevant to the particular child together with references for further in-depth reading. We pinpoint when a child needs a particular specialist assessment or follow up treatment thereby reducing the likelihood of parents getting unnecessary and sometimes expensive assessments done.

The Starjump assessment develops a multi-dimensional profile of the child allowing us to analyse and respond to extremely complex issues. We look at the whole child and develop recommendations that consider the psychological, physical and emotional needs of each child assessed. The Starjump assessment is unique and comprehensive, providing parents and teachers with the essential information they need in meeting the specific needs of each child with special needs.

The assessment is suitable for children of all ages and can be conducted anywhere in the world where there is good internet access. The service is currently available in English, Chinese and Malay.
